High school watershed education program
The goal of Inland Empire Waterkeeper's education program is to generate student interest in environmental conditions, as well as introduce potential career opportunities associated with watershed management. Students participate in a series of classroom activities and field trips designed to promote stewardship and community involvement.
Students are educated on the importance of understanding watersheds and natural habitats, and the need to preserve them. They also participate in hands-on water sampling and restoration activities.
