On October 20, 2013, Inland Empire Waterkeeper launched its first ever FallFest. FallFest is the first fundraising festival of its kind, in the city of Riverside, where the goal is to support Waterkeeper's educational program, RiverKATS, and raise environmental awareness within the community. Inland Empire Waterkeeper invites musicians, artists, and vendors to provide entertainment to families as they eat to live music or choose the best locally grown pumpkin from our pumpkin patch, all in the hopes a donation is left to support our wonderful educational programs and visitors leave with a better understanding of the importance of our river and environment. With the success of FallFest 2014, Waterkeeper was able to provide four RiverKATS field trips to schools throughout the IE, offer RiverCamp 2015, and again host FallFest 2015 at Martha McLean Park! Inland Empire Waterkeeper is pleased with the outcome of this festival and very thankful for the participation of all organizations, artists and vendors in this event and hopes to continue this fall tradition for many years to come!
