Depending on the students’ interest, internships with Inland Empire Waterkeeper may include:
Marketing and Fundraising
Organizing fundraising events
Increasing membership through outreach activities
Contacting businesses and corporations for fundraising potential
Grant research and/or writing
Water Sampling and Analysis
Training in various water sampling methods and analysis
Sampling creeks, streams, lakes, or stormdrains
Drafting reports representative of data collection
Law and Policy
Researching environmental/water quality issues
Drafting comment letters for Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs), letters of legislative support, or other opportunities for public comment in the regulatory process
Document retrieval and/or review
