No Child Left Inside
On September 18th, The House of Representatives approved the No Child Left Inside Act, which "strengthens and expands environmental education in America's classrooms and reconnects children with nature." The Bill now moves to the Senate for approval.
In the Inland Empire, Mary Bono (R - Palm Springs) and Joe Baca (D - Ontario) supported the legislation, while Ken Calvert (R - Corona) and Jerry Lewis (R - San Bernardino) voted against the Bill.
