Watershed Freeway Sign
IEWK would like to thank green building consultant Eric R. Shamp, owner of Ecotype Consulting in Redlands, for his generous donation of $1,500.  The money will be used to pay our encroachment permit fees to Caltrans, getting our freeway sign program officially off the ground. Thanks Eric, and welcome!

RCTC's 91-Freeway Expansion Project
Did you receive the Notice of Preparation of a Draft Environmental Impact Report from Caltrans on 7/11/08?  If not, email your interest to be notified of the EIR to: D8_SR_91_Corridor_Improvement@dot.ca.govc/o Russell Williams at Caltrans Div. of Environmental Planning (464 W. 4th St., 11th Floor, San Bernardino, CA 92401, or 909.383.1554).

This project proposes to expand the capacity of the 91 freeway from SR-241 to Pierce St., and expand capacity on Interstate 15 from Cajalco Rd. to Hidden Valley Pkwy.

Clearly, this is part of the larger plan that includes the Mid-County Parkway through Gavilan Hills and the Irvine-Corona Expressway through the Santa Ana Mountains.  Express your concerns today!
